Set gracefully on a hill overlooking a small, bustling waterhole and the vast plains below, Safarihoek is a premier contemporary lodge widely regarded for its exceptional warmth and authentic Namibian hospitality. It provides a wonderfully remote escape while remaining perfectly located for prime wildlife encounters.

The shared border between the Etosha Heights Private Reserve and the world-famous Etosha National Park means that the area's prolific animals – including the iconic and highly endangered black rhino – wander freely through the reserve, making Safarihoek an absolute hotspot for safari enthusiasts.

The main area features cool, thatched architecture with open spaces, a public lounge, and a striking swimming pool offering panoramic 180-degree views across the wild savannah. Photographers and nature lovers can also take advantage of the custom, double-storey photography hide located right at the waterhole for unforgettable close-ups.

Bespoke Chalet Accommodation

Safarihoek offers 11 cool, light, and spacious thatched chalets in total, all meticulously crafted with private viewing decks. Children of all ages are warmly welcome across all categories:

• Luxury Rooms (8 Rooms): Feature two three-quarter beds that convert into an extra-length king-size bed. Equipped with full air conditioning, an electronic safe, a stocked mini-bar, and an ensuite private bathroom with a scenic indoor layout plus an additional luxury outdoor shower.
• Classic Rooms (2 Rooms): Feature two three-quarter beds (convertible to an extra-length king-size bed), full air conditioning, a stocked mini-bar, an electronic safe, and a beautiful ensuite private bathroom with a modern shower.
• Family Unit (1 Room / Unit): An expansive, air-conditioned two-bedroom sanctuary separated by a cozy central lounge area. The master bedroom holds a comfortable double bed with an ensuite bathroom, while the secondary room offers two three-quarter beds and its own private ensuite bathroom. Max occupancy is 2 adults and 2 children.
