The Fort is unlike any other, the only one of its kind in Namibia. It is built in exactly the right spot to give guests probably one of the best sunset views in the whole of Namibia – overlooking the beautiful scarceness of the Etosha Pans, decorated only with its wild animals and hundreds of Camel Thorn trees.

Upon arriving at The Fort, you will be received by not only our friendly staff, but also massive raw walls, stunning stone cladded features and a huge tower with views toward Etosha and Fisher's Pan. The Fort will surprise you at every corner; a classical African feel combined with a touch of Moroccan and Indian flavours, characterised by a selection of the most beautiful antique windows and doors.

Exclusive Luxury Suites

Accommodation at Onguma - The Fort consists of **13 ultra-luxurious suites**, carefully distributed to maximize privacy and viewlines:

11 Bush Suites: Completely private and situated about 50 meters apart from one another adjacent to the Main Fort. Each is equipped with an air-conditioner, bar fridge, fireplace, cozy mosquito nets, and hairdryers. The spacious bathroom features both an inside and an outside shower area. Wooden decks lead you toward the outside seating area and sun loungers.
1 Honeymoon Suite: Sharing the same premium, private setup as the Bush Suites, enhanced with a romantic outside bath to relax under the Namibian sky.
1 Sultan Suite: The ultimate fortress experience located inside the Main Tower of the main complex. It features a large, beautifully designed bedroom leading into a lounge area equipped with a satellite television system, a bar fridge, air-conditioning, and telephone facilities. The massive bathroom offers a wonderful open shower area alongside an indoor relaxation bath, opening up to a private viewing deck.
