The Safari & Lodge Experience

The heart of Ongava Lodge centers around its expansive thatched main dining area, lounge, and bar. Here, guests can relax with a cold drink while watching an abundance of wildlife congregate, drink, and interact at the legendary floodlit waterhole directly below the ridge, creating incredible day and night wildlife viewing opportunities.

Your stay includes a dedicated guide and access to shared game drive vehicles for journeys into neighboring Etosha National Park or across the private reserve. Beyond traditional game drives, exclusive on-site activities include guided nature walks, bird watching, special rhino tracking approaches on foot, a dedicated wildlife viewing hide, and admission to the Ongava Research Centre Visitor Centre.
