About Mokuti Etosha

Mokuti Etosha is situated right outside the Von Lindequist Gate near the historic Namutoni Fort. Located on its own private 4,300-hectare nature reserve, Mokuti Etosha is the closest lodge to the Etosha National Park, sharing a common border with the park boundaries. Upon arrival, a cool, green tropical oasis welcomes guests.

Charming thatched buildings and three sparkling pools situated amongst the vast and lush gardens give credibility to the name “Mokuti”, which in Ovambo means “in the forest”. An authentic, warm Namibian welcome awaits guests at this intimate 114-room lodge, with its extensive, world-class facilities shaped by the land's history and the passionate hospitality of its people.

Accommodation & Safari Chalets

The lodge offers 114 rooms with a scenic view of the sprawling gardens or the wild bush, situated in separate one-story chalet-style buildings with authentic thatched roofs in a large, landscaped garden setting. The room configurations include:

• 106 Double / Twin Rooms: Built for up to 2 adults (plus 1 cot for infants aged 0-2 years).
• 8 Family Suites: Featuring a separate bedroom and one sleeper couch that can comfortably accommodate two children (0-12 years) sharing a bathroom.

All rooms feature top-tier modern amenities including air-conditioning, room safes, hairdryers, showers, TVs, internet access, a desk, a coffee and tea-making set, and a fully stocked mini-bar.
